Brian Wolensky, Esq.

Brian founded ABCE Legal, LLC to give businesses facing legal issues, or in need of sound legal and business judgment, access to the high-level counsel typically reserved for organizations with large legal teams. His practice is deliberately focused on leadership-level engagements, risk, compliance, litigation management, and commercial contract review.

Brian's true passion is problem solving. He goes about it in a variety of ways, but believes that hard problems are best solved cross-functionally, with everyone working together. Cross-functional communication is his favorite part of the work, and meeting people across different departments and cultures around the globe is what motivates him most.

That focus is grounded in 20 years of legal experience, spanning a variety of industries and locations. Brian started handling high-value litigation at large and mid-size law firms for Fortune 50 clients. Following a decade of high-stakes litigation, including thousands of cases, depositions, arbitrations, and first-chair trial experience, Brian had the opportunity to move in-house at a global start-up out of Australia. The rest is history.

He went on to serve as General Counsel, supporting North America and Europe on all legal matters. He then served as risk and litigation counsel for the largest building materials manufacturer in the U.S., and has since held a variety of roles inside a large legal department at a publicly traded company. He has also taken on engagements with startups and small local businesses.

His work has given him a deep, practical understanding of how legal risk plays out, from inside a large, complex organization all the way down to a small local business.

All of this experience has allowed Brian to operate as outside counsel while also understanding how various legal departments and teams are structured and operate. Learning the intricacies of different legal teams has been fascinating to him, and has given him a clear sense of what a particular company may need from its legal function.

Brian resides outside of Philadelphia. When he isn't running to sporting events with his wife and two kids, he's cheering on the Philadelphia teams. When he has a free minute, he's at the beach.
